As an Account Manager Marketplaces, you are the strategic partner who helps our clients dominate both national and international platforms. You translate ambitions into tangible growth — ensuring we not only meet expectations, but consistently exceed them.

Your main challenges

As an Account Manager Marketplaces, you are the strategic compass for your clients. You seamlessly connect clients, consultants, and specialists, understand how marketplace dynamics work, and turn that knowledge into clear roadmaps and scalable strategies.

You:

  • Build strong, long-term partnerships within your own client portfolio.
  • Develop end-to-end marketplace growth plans — from content and advertising to pricing and international expansion.
  • Provide sharp advice on product positioning, brand protection, and commercial opportunities.
  • Identify growth potential and translate it into concrete projects or expansions.
  • Drive performance, set priorities, and take a proactive advisory role.
  • Have strong commercial instincts and quickly turn new business signals into valuable opportunities.

In short: you are both the strategic sparring partner and the face of Follo for leading e-commerce brands.

Your profile

What we expect from you

  • 3+ years of experience in marketplaces or e-commerce (medior) or 5+ years (senior).
  • Proven experience in client management and building strategic partnerships.
  • In-depth knowledge of platforms such as Bol, Amazon, and Kaufland, including advertising, content, pricing, and feed management.
  • The ability to translate complex challenges into clear roadmaps and well-founded strategic decisions.
  • For senior candidates: experience leading teams or developing new propositions.
  • Strong communication skills, persuasive ability, and an analytical mindset.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude — you’re always focused on growth.
