#5 Everybody lies
A New York Times bestseller. A book about Big Data. What does the data tell us about who we really are? Big Data has the answer. If you ask the right questions. An inspiring book written in a humorous way.

#4 Welcome to the Metaverse
After “Big Data” at position 5, it's time for another buzzword “metaverse”. Although ‘metaverse’ still has a lot of ‘buzz’, the author Pieter van Leugenhagen succeeds in giving a glimpse into the future of how Metaverse will/can change the world. Especially recommended because it gives more inspiration and direction about the Metaverse world.

#3 AMP it Up
This year we stay close to Big Data. Amp it Up is a book for managers to scale an organization. Written by the CEO of Snowflake. In a way that makes it directly applicable to many other organizations. Absolutely recommended.

#2 Rocket Fuel
Not a brand new book. But a book that every manager should have read. It is an easy and quick read. A book that provides more direction from vision to extraction of that vision.

#1 No rules rules
The absolute must-read of this year. The organization, Netflix, behind ‘no rules rules’ needs no introduction. The book perhaps does. No Rules rules provides a detailed view of how Netflix is able to scale to new ideas and countries. Mainly by sharing a clear vision of the company with all colleagues, and giving them the freedom to act entirely independently towards this vision. But really entirely independently. How do you manage this principle? What results does this yield? What should you pay attention to? This book describes well and practically how this has been increasingly rolled out within the company. An inspiration for managers to inspire colleagues and accelerate them!
